Mengi: Minister wants me declared bankrupt

I absolutely concur to Mr Mengi's reaction that even if they are able tosilence him, they will never stop the movement against corruption. No onehas the right to threaten others, let the Law decides your innocence orguiltiness. This is time to liberate the country from our own colonies. Iurge Mr Mengi to continue encouraging the media to fight corruption.History indicates that in fighting for true democracy, transparency andaccountability the media suffers a lot from torture and persecution ofjournalists.

For sure, president Kikwete has marked a history in this country andWananchi should join him. Watch dogs and whistle blowers have a uniquerole in fighting against corruption. Our country has enough resources togive Wananchi the acceptable living standards.
Most of the scarceresources available end up being misused by egoist bureaucrats. Thecountry will never move forward unless corruption and public embezzlementdo perish.

The new Institutional Economics Theories have shown evidence thatcountries with weak institutions will never develop. In fact, corruptionand public embezzlement have crowding out effect on both economic growthand economic development.
Can't we be tired of being backbitten by Donorcountries? A lot of Aid and grants supplied but still pervasive povertyfor the majority just because of few egoist people.
This is time to say NO, it is enough.
