Dr martin luther king III

I wanted to send this note through you blog.I just wanted to remind everyone not to forget the message from Dr. King. Today (April 4, 2008,) 40 years ago
we remember his legacy, and his vision for the world.

Dr. King preached not only for America, but for the entire world.

What Dr. King said, it’s hard to digest since his message not only focused about RACE but Economic and Social injustice. These are some of the challenges that will continue to haunt us for generations to come…

unless we revisit that message and see how we can bring societies together and address these issues.

A passion that is evident in his final sermon, given at the National Cathedral on March 31st, 1968, in which he declared:

“There is nothing new about poverty. What is new is that we now have the techniques and the resources to get rid of poverty. The real question is whether we have the will.” Sadly, forty years have passed and absolutely no strides have been made to combat poverty”. Martin Luther King III
