74 killed in twin bomb blasts in kampala
An al-Qaeda-linked Somali militant group called Al Shabaab has confirmed on Monday that it carried out two bomb blasts that killed at least 74 people in Uganda's capital Kampala and threatened more attacks if the country kept its peacekeeping troops in Somalia. The attack hit an Ethiopian restaurant in Kampala, normally frequented by western expatriates. The crowds were watching the FIFA's Final World Cup match.
