Chelsea FC's billionaire owner Roman Abramovich climbs Kilimanjaro Mountain for eight days starting today via the Shira Route in West Kilimanjaro via the Western Breach Wall, after that he goes back to London.

He arrived last night at around 8pm, slept at Rivertrees just outside maji ya chai in Arusha, and early this morning boarded a helicopter to Simba Farm where he spends the night before his Kili-trek tomorrow morning.

He will be back in London for the Tuesday, 15 September 2009 Uefa Champions LeagueChelsea v FC Porto at Stanford Bridge.

Mandy Juma Rajabu Furaji ni kijana mdogo wa Kitanzania aliyebahatika kupata ufadhili wa kuhudhuria chuo maalum cha kufundishia mchezo wa Tennis kiitwacho Tennis Avenue Academy hapa nchini Uingereza.

Kijana Mandy akiongozana na baba yake Bwana Juma Rajabu Furaji na wenyeji wao hapa Uingereza, Bwana na Bibi Mansela, walipata nafasi ya kutembelea Ofisi za Ubalozi wa Tanzania hapa nchini Uingereza, na kupokewa na Mheshimiwa Balozi, Mwanaidi Senare Maajar, pamoja na maofisa wengine wa Ubalozini hapo.

Baada ya kufanyiwa majaribio kadhaa na Walimu na Wataalamu wa Chuo hiko wamefurahishwa na wameridhia na kipaji, kiwango na umakini wa kijana Mandy na kumzawadia Scholarship {Ufadhili} kwa Umahili wake alionao kwenye mchezo huo maarufu wa Tennis.

Ikumbukwe kuwa mchezo huo wa Tennis ni aghari sana nchini Uingereza na kwenye nchi zilizoendelea.

Mandy ataendelea na mafunzo yake ya Tennis chini ya Kocha wake na ambaye ni Mkurugenzi wa chuo hiko cha Tennis Avenue Academy kilichopo maeneo ya New Malden Surrey Bwana Hareen Wasantha.

Basi bwana blog leo jioni nilikuwa kwenye viunga vya mji wa Mbabane ambao ni makao makuu ya nchi ya Swaziland. Yaani Ofisi zote za Serikali zipo hapa pamoja na maduka makubwa ya nguo na vyakula yapo katika eneo hili.

Eneo lipo juu zaidi toka usawa wa bahari, ni la milimani ukilinganisha na kitogoji cha Lobambo eneo la Ludzidzin ambako Reed Dance hufanyikaga katika Palace (jumba la mfalme) la Mama yake King Msawti III.

Mji wa Mbapane upo juu kama unatokea eneo la Ezulwini, yaliyopo makazi ya King Mswati, na hali ya hewa yake huwa ya baridi sana, kwa haraka haraka unaweza kufananisha na eneo la Mbeya kwa wale waliofika Mbeya wanaweza kupata picha kamili.

Aidha, nchi hii ina wakaazi wanaokadiriwa kufikia milioni 1.2 na eneo lake kama moja za wilaya hapo Bongo! picha hizi zinawasilisha taswira ya mji wa Mbabane, na hapa ni city centre yao, hakuna tena kama hapa.

Retirement Planning Course

The Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development (IMED) runs a three week retirement planning course. The course provides an opportunity for participants to develop pertinent skills for preparing for honorable and fulfilling retirement. It is recognized that the earlier one starts planning and preparing for retirement, the better. The course is designed to help individuals who are still in employment, those approaching retirement and those who have recently retired.

The course which is competency-based is delivered by highly experienced facilitators, using a participatory, experiential learning methodology. Participants will be guided to identify their economic and non-economic assets and liabilities, opportunities and threats as a basis for planning for assured streams of income and a socially fulfilling life after retirement.

Participants will also learn pertinent personal finance and investment skills, including choice, development, financing and management of income generating activities appropriate for retirees. Selected retirees will share their experiences with participants. Officials from financial institutions will present products and options available for supporting future retirees’ investments.

The starting date for the course is October 17th, 2009. Class sessions will be delivered on evenings and weekends to enable those who are employed to attend. Classes will be on Tuesdays and Fridays from 5.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9.00 am to 4.00 p/m for three weeks. Participants will also be required to complete assignments in between class sessions.

The deadline for application is 10th October, 2009. The fee (to cover the tuition fee, materials and refreshments) is TZS 400,000/=. Since the course attracts many applicants for the maximum class size of 25, selection will on the basis of first come first served.

The practical nature of the programme and an individual based support will make a big difference in your retirement life.
